'SteadyCursor emerged from a vision: to offer genuine Neapolitan pizza in London. The Thompson family established our pizza shop in 1985 as a quaint, family endeavor with recipes passing down from ancestors.

Emily Thompson, our pioneer, mastered the pizza craft in her voyages across Italy, apprenticing with esteemed pizzaiolos in Naples—pizza's homeland. After coming back to the UK, she was inspired to replicate the essence of authentic Italian pizza, sticking to age-old processes and the best ingredients obtainable.

Our journey started with a humble pizza place comprising 12 seats and has since evolved into a cherished neighborhood fixture. Our devotion to excellence and genuineness stays unchanged. We continue to use original wood-fired ovens, prepare our dough freshly each day, and procure the premium quality ingredients.

Today, 'SteadyCursor is still in the hands of the Thompson family, with the next generation now at the helm of our passionate team. While we have adopted new technologies, our core promise remains: to deliver scrumptious and true pizza that unites everyone.
